At school Lisa had shown herself to be a natural leader with a zest for life that was infectious. At the time being awarded her scholarship she was a Sports Captain at Kelston and outside of school, a Youth Councilor for the Waitakere City Council.
Lisa went on to develop a strong relationship with Douglas Pharmaceuticals and accumulated an outstanding profile of work experience through them during the course of her scholarship. Having always been passionate about people, health and wellbeing, she graduated as the top academic and clinical student of her Bachelor of Nursing class at The University of Auckland in 2010.
Lisa is currently studying for a Postgraduate Certificate in Nursing and once complete she will continue on to do a PhD in healthcare. She then plans to take her enthusiasm and experience overseas to benefit third world countries.
