First Foundation established Group Supporters as a way of
enabling our many friends, fans and followers, most of whom
couldn't afford the full cost of a scholarship, to come together
and get directly involved in giving a student a 'hand-up'.
They might be work-mates, a sports club, a group of family
members, a church or even just a bunch of friends. Each Group has
an identified leader who acts as a single point of contact with
First Foundation and takes responsibility for ensuring that the
funding for the scholarship is provided on time.
Group Supporters differ from our Scholarship Partners in that
they do not need to provide paid part-time work for their
scholarship recipient as this is organised by First Foundation.
