HEAD GIRL, 2010
A talented all-rounder and a natural-born leader, Anna-Monique's
outstanding qualities were recognised by her school when she was
appointed their Head Girl in 2010. At the time that she was
appointed a First Foundation Scholar, the Deputy Principal at
Catholic Cathedral described Anna-Monique as 'a committed student
to our College. Anna has good people skills and an enthusiastic
personality. She gets things done in a determined way. She has the
ability to lead others well and is willing to put others first.'
Anna-Monique has a long list of involvements to show for her time
at school. Among these shine her skills as a fine orator, a
musician and a sportswoman for both school and representative teams
in Netball.
Having been recognised in 2009 as a high achiever within the
Pasifika Community, Anna-Monique was awarded an Otago University
Campus Life Scholarship as a taster to tertiary study. Building on
this experience, she is now studying towards a Bachelor of Design,
majoring in Visual Communication and Graphic Design through
Christchurch Polytechnic Institute of Technology.
