Monica brings her own personality and strong presence into
whatever she is involved in. Monica consistently demonstrates great
maturity in her ability to balance the demands placed upon her from
home, school and society.
Being a strong academic, she came first in Year 11 Mathematics and
Physical Education at her school and received recognition of Merit
in Accounting, Economics, Geography and Physical Education. She was
named Yr 11 Kotuku Scholar. Monica also enjoyed being involved in a
variety of sports and cultural activities. She was a Soccer and
Hockey player in premier teams. In addition she played the role of
Team Manager for the Premier Girl's Volleyball team and the 1st XV
Boy's Rugby team. Monica also took part in the Polynesian Festival
in 2009 in the Indian Group. She is also a keen member of the New
Zealand Sikh Community.

willingness to get 'stuck in' and her enthusiasm to achieve made
