PEER SUPPORT, HOUSE CAPTAIN, 2010
Aotea College's Yr 12 Dean summarised Nathan's contribution to
their school community with the following words: "Nathan is a
courteous student who is very popular amongst his peers and
teachers, and is always willing to go the extra mile to help out."
These qualities were evident in his willingness to represent his
peers as Class Captain on the Student Council, standout soccer
player on the sports field, being on the Year 11 Leaders' Committee
and a Peer Support Leader.
Foodstuffs were largely impressed by Nathan's strong work ethic and
his confident and mature approach to life at such a young age. His
academic achievements across all subjects were high and he was
awarded the Academic Excellence Award for an outstanding number of
total credits for NCEA Level 1.
Nathan's leadership skills and innovative streak align well with
the Bachelor of Business and Information Systems that he is due to
graduate from in 2013. He is currently studying at Victoria
University.
