Grammar School is pleased to recommend Prakhar for a First
Foundation Scholarship, stating that 'Prakhar is a mature,
motivated and diligent student who is both talented and keen to
exceed in his studies.' In 2009, Prakhar achieved Level 1 NCEA with
a Merit endorsement.
Prakhar is involved in a number of extracurricular activities,
including Salsa class and as a substitute for the 1st XI Cricket
team. Prakhar plays cricket for the Eden-Roskill Cricket club and
was made Captain of his team. He has also represented Western
Districts in Hamilton for cricket. Prakhar participates in the Air
Training Corps, which involves many camps and marching on ANZAC
day. In his spare time, Prakhar works part time in his
step-father's shop for which he attributes gaining many valuable
work skills.
Prakhar is looking forward to studying Engineering at the
University of Auckland. He hopes to be able to travel the world and
someday own his own business.
