Recognised as vibrant and effervescent, Sina was also noted for her
maturity when she was awarded a First Foundation scholarship with
Ford. Patrick Baker, Finance Director at Ford, said that "Sina
comes across as being mature beyond her years." This combination of
excellent attributes saw Sina as step into leadership positions,
including being chosen as Deputy Head Girl in 2008. Sina was also
acknowledged for her diligence to her role as Student
Representative on the Kelston Girls' Board of Trustees.
Sina is currently studying towards a Bachelor of Arts at The
Auckland University with a major in Music and a minor in Media
Studies. Sina's passion for music was evident at high school where
she was a lead singer in a band and participated in the Orchestra
and Choir. She continues to take up opportunities which give her
chances to follow her love for music including working for the
Vodafone Music Awards and at the recent New Zealand Music Awards,
singing backing vocals for band Evermore.
