At school Talya was recognised as an inspirational leader. Her
Principal regarded her as an "incredibly positive and determined
young woman, who works hard at her studies'. Talya was particularly
talented in the Sciences and she studied Level 3 Calculus a year
ahead of her peer group. Alongside studies, Talya worked part time
to provide financial support for her mother.
At Siemens, Talya's people skills and positive attitude went
a long way. Working there she developed a strong team-work ethic
and an understanding not only of the technology industry but of a
successful business.
Talya studied a Bachelor of Biomedical Science at The University of
Auckland. Graduating in 2010 she has gone directly on to study for
a Postgraduate Diploma in Biological Medical Science.
