HEAD GIRL, 2008
Theresa was recognised by her Yr 12 Dean as a "student, always
eager to learn, who is never satisfied with mediocre results." A
high achiever in a range of subjects, Theresa was further described
by her arts teacher as "a creative young woman who is a talented
actress, artist, writer and poet...with the ability to excel at
everything she puts her mind to." She had the honour of being
chosen as her school's Head Girl in 2008. Theresa's intrinsic
determination has helped her through the challenge of working
through the death of her mother in 2009.
Upon being awarded a First Foundation Scholarship Robyn Dalzell
from New Zealand Post praised this fine young woman in saying,
"Theresa has a strong sense of responsibility, community and what
it is to be a good role model."
Today Theresa continues to demonstrate a desire for ongoing
learning by studying a Bachelor of Arts at the University of
Auckland.
