Quynh Vo is a community focussed young woman who has a clear pathway for the future and wants to make her family proud. Her parents came from Vietnam and her dad has worked in the same company for 20 years with his children’s future in mind; although there were aspirations to study, providing for his family came first.
A big part of their family culture is the Vietnamese Catholic Church where Quynh is very active in various roles. She plays piano and has been part of a group that sews for children in Middlemore hospital. In the future, she would like to join some charity groups and get her drivers licence.
Quynh attended Aorere College and will go to the University of Auckland to complete a conjoint Bachelor of Communication and Bachelor of Science, majoring in Accounting and Computer Science.
