"The team at Ford Motor Company was drawn to Sarah's confident and outgoing nature, articulate manner and her obvious desire to succeed" said Peter McDonald, Information Technology Manager at Ford Motor Company when awarding Sarah a First Foundation Scholarship.

Sarah studied at The University of Auckland towards a conjoint degree in Commerce and Arts specialising in Statistics and Accounting. She then continued her studies and graduated with First Class Honours in Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing) in 2010. She was part of the founding team of SavY, a student run charitable organisation which provides financial literacy workshops to participating secondary schools. She continues to support SavY as a trustee on the board.
