Despite having to overcome significant health issues after being diagnosed with Acute Lymphatic Leukaemia in January 2008, to her credit, Sheenal managed to achieve NCEA Level 1 endorsed with Merit. Sheenal received the Leadership Award for the Inspired Entrepreneur Experience Program. Sheenal iwas a leader amongst her pairs, as part of the mentoring program, the Year 12 Leadership group and Leader of the Indian Group at Polyfest 2010. She played soccer and tennis and was part of the Gateway Work Experience Program.
Outside of school hours, Sheenal is the Secretary of the Satya Sanatan Ramayan Group and an active member of Canteen. She volunteered at the Botanical Garden Festival and Community Clean up.

Sheenal has completed a Bachelor of Commerce from The University of Auckland and is shifted to Australia to work at EY. In 2017 she got married and shifted to Gadens in Brisbane where she is currently People and Performance Advisor.
