Simoné received special assembly awards for Physics, English and for overall academic achievement, along with an Academic Award for English.
She was a member of the 2014 Leadership Group, Peer Support Leader, and an active member of the Amnesty International Group and represented her school in Year 11 at the Global Connections Conference.
Simoné was also a member of the Rangitoto Netball team, a Red Cross Collector, a Junior Choir member and participant in the Indian Cultural Group and is an active member of her church's Youth Group.

In her first year at The University of Auckland Simoné studied for a Bachelor of Science and in 2016 changed to a Bachelor of Construction (Quantity Surveying) at Massey University which she will complete at the end of 2018.
