DEPUTY HEAD GIRL, 2015

As well as being a strong leader, Theresa is a very talented musician, both as a singer and also playing Piano and Guitar.  She was first in Year 10 and 11 for Music and was received the Jenny Laing Financial Award for Music in 2013.  During year 10 she was Music monitor for her class, and in Year 10 she was also Class Captain for her Form Class.  Theresa is one of the school's Band Leaders, a member of the School's World Vision Committee. She is also a Choir Leader along with her Father at her Parish Church Choir.  In 2014 Theresa was a participant in the Prime Minister's Youth Programme and this year she is Deputy Head Girl.

Theresa plans to be the first in her family to attend University, firstly to study Music majoring in Composition and Sonic Arts at Victoria University of Wellington, and then on to a Doctorate degree in Music.  Theresa's goal is to become a Record Producer and also to teach Music at Tertiary and Secondary School levels.
