2016 Head boy
Utufiu received an award for top academic student in Year 11 and received excellence endorsements in NCEA Level 1. His goal is to be the first in his family to study at University and he would like to become a doctor.
Sport is an important part of Utufiu's life and he has represented his school in volleyball, kilikiti, cricket and Under 19 Basketball. He also plays in the brass band and performed in the Samoan group at ASB Polyfest.
On the leadership front he has attended PILOT (Pacific Island Leaders of Tomorrow), the University of Auckland Dream Camp and sailed on the Spirit of Adventure. "As a school we see great things ahead for this young man and look forward to watching his star rise," said Tamaki College Principal Soana Pamaka.
