Aradhna Raj

This outstanding student studied Bursary Calculus a year ahead of her peers and sat a further 6 subjects for Bursary in Yr 13. She received Academic Excellence awards in each of her years at secondary school and in 2000 was the recipient of an ASB Bank Bursary Award.

After completing a Bachelor in Human Biology at The University of Auckland, Aradhna was accepted as a Medical Student in 2008. In addition, Aradhna is thrilled to have secured a place with The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR) to study Radiology. She will graduate in 2015.

During her scholarship, exposure to corporate working environments equipped her with transferable skills in relating to a diverse range of people. These are skills which she now draws on daily as a qualified Junior Doctor in Auckland. Outside the hospital environment, Aradhna has found opportunities to promote health in her local community, including being a guest speaker on Triangle television.
